The WaterRower A1 has a simple, anthracite-colored aluminum running rail (mono-rail). The performance monitor is built into the footrest (no S4 monitor). The wood is oiled ash wood that is solid. The WaterRower's heart is a sturdy polycarbonate water tank with an ergonomically shaped water paddle. Maximum water entrainment is enabled, resulting in even, jerk-free resistance. Water resistance training is extremely gentle on the joints while also being extremely effective. Wood absorbs noise and vibrations, allowing the WaterRower to run smoothly and quietly. After training, the WaterRower can be stowed to save space: the rowing machine can be placed upright on the wall with a simple movement, and the water remains safely in the tank.
